Cute name for this tote. The rounded corners give this type of carry-all some style so it does not look so much like a grocery shopping bag. The instructions and photos that accompany the article show that it would be easy for any level of sewer to duplicate. Sturdy canvas would make this bag perfect to carry heavy books.

I like tote bags and make them any chance I can get but I do not have one for my trips to the library. I bought a bag for me and my grand kids but they are so thin that the bags keep breaking so it is time to make some real sturdy ones. I love pockets too and I like that this tote has one on the outside. I may even add a small pocket with a zipper inside to carry the library cards so you do not have to search your pocketbook when checking them out. This is a very fast and easy tote and a great tutorial . Add a few embellishments to give it some pizazz.

This is a great tote bag project. Totes have so many uses. I prefer this tote for storage being that I find it attractive for decorating my sewing area.
