This soft landing receiving blanket is such a great idea that every one should make one to take with them. How many times have you left during the day while it was warm and by time evening came it got so much colder and you did not bring extra clothes especially for a baby. I like that it also folds up like a sleeping bag so it does not slide all over when carrying it and rolls up for easy storage. This would make a great baby shower gift. Find some fabric with those princesses or super heros or some fun fabric for an older kid and I bet they will love one. Very simple and easy to make. Great tutorial and is a real keeper. Thanks.
