I really like this eReader or tablet cover as it becomes the useful prop-up to help stand the device up at a nice reading angle. Store-bought cases like this one can be very expensive so great to be able to DIY. The button used to keep the device from sliding is a great idea.

I give this pattern 4 stars! It's awesome. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is alternate instructions are needed for horizontal case. No biggie. I can figure it out. Also, I will not be using cardboard. This is a bad idea. I think a 2 mm PVC sheeting or other plastic would be much better to make this waterproof! I can't risk making this and getting it wet. The cardboard will warp or turn to mush! I can't wait to make this. I have some very oriental looking, heavy weight, teal with gold brocade, silk look material that will be perfect for this project.
