The infinity scarf is soft and feminine and relatively easy to sew however, having made one out of wool plaid myself, I know the last part of the tutorial may be somewhat challenging. Sewing the long ends right-sides together to make a tube and then turn right sides out is easy, connecting the short ends together is the somewhat puzzling part as the ends of the tube are essentially circles to connect together. If patience prevails, this infinity scarf would be a great accessory. Anyone else find an easy way to connect the tube ends?

When I make pillows or things that need to be attached like that I usually pin and sew together just like sewing around until you just leave a small opening and then slip stitch just a little way. I want to make one of these but I do not understand why they are saying to get 2 yards of each fabric when the measurements are 14x80. I understand it needs to be 80 long so you need the length but 2 yards is only 72. That is a lot of wasted fabric if you only need 14" wide. D you know why? I wish there was a video.
