This is a darling birdie mobile! If you do have linens or blankets with this same motif, you could duplicate bird designs used in the linen for an even more unified look. Another idea is to take one of the birdies and enlarge it for a nice crib toy or even a pillow for the rocking chair or window sill. Add a few flowing ribbons for further embellishment or to,pick up the bird colors or color of the nursery!

Having made a few mobiles in the past, I find I especially like this one. It really is so simple, easy and just adorable. Some scrap felt, small amount of polyfill, ribbon and an embroidery hoop will make this whimsical mobile charming. Great for a new baby or shower gift too.
