Tank Top to Tote Bag

Transform your typical tank top into a beautiful and embellished tote bag.

We all have clothing that we don't wear and yet it's all still taking up space in our closets and drawers.

This DIY tote is the perfect alternative to throwing out damaged clothing, too! Use up whatever you have in your spaces to make something you'll actually use.

Aside from other free tote bag patterns, this tote is super simple and quick. With just a few stitches you'll have a handmade bag for every day.

Materials:

• One tank top
• Sewing machine (or can be hand sewn with strong thread)

Instructions:

1. Sew along the bottom hem of a tank top to close up the bottom.
2. The straps of the top now become the handles of the tote bag.

Optional:
Attach a brooch, or hand made flowers as embellishment on your tote bag.
