There is something about a basket of fabric strawberry pincushions that make a sewing room so cheery. Great scrappy sewing project too. Instead of crushed walnut shells and the instructions indicate, I might use some emery or very fine spun steel wool as filling for the strawberries to keep needles and pins sharp.
