This once former wooden jewelry box has turned into a sewing box very nicely. I like that there is a place for bobbins and a place for long needles. The cushioned top is perfect to hold pins. Great recycle project. Painting the box the pretty blue color really does give it new life.

What a great idea to take a jewelry box and make it into sewing box. I love the way she used the place the earring went and put her needles in it. And I love the pin cushion top. This is the perfect box to keep things organized and this would make a great gift for any sewer or a great beginners sewing kit for an adult or child. I will be keeping an eye out for one at thrift stores or start from scratch by buying a blank one. Thanks for the tutorial. Some super great ideas and so easy to follow.
