I worked in fabric stores for years and we had an uphoster that did the work there and I use to watch him when I could. This tutorial is spot on on the right way to do your own uphostery. It is not a fast project but you can do it and it will save you a lot of money. Remember when cutting the pieces from the old to add some inches for seams and number pieces the way you take them off.
