This basic black dress is perfect for special occasions however, a fitted knit dress pattern is needed in order to cut out the front and back pieces of this dress. Any close to the body knit dress pattern you may already have will do. The picture shows the dress with sleeves which is attractive however sleeve length or no sleeves are options. Quick to sew especially with a serger.

Wow this looks super easy. Black is always great to have in my wardrobe. But I am also looking to expand my business wardrobe. Other colours or patterns would be a possibility, I wonder if there are other fabrics that would work as well?
