I received an order for an apron. Since I didn't have a pattern and wasn't heading to town anytime soon, the light clicked on to check with all free sewing. And of course found an easy pattern for me as a new sewer to make. I thought of some cute idea's to make it special all on its own. It was so easy I am going to make a few egg collecting aprons and hopefully sell them to my friends with chickens. Thank you!

This skirt is just charming and easy to sew. The casing waistband takes care of the gathering. Instead of an applique, a small pocket could be added to the apron part of the skirt. The pictures in the tutorial make it easy to follow the instructions. Love the pioneer look of this skirt.
