So pretty! I love the gathers and the contrasting fabric on top of them. Haven't quite decided yet whether or not to use a zip or perhaps some other kind of closure or clasp. Once I have done mine I have orders for 2 more so it is just as well that I am really enjoying this project. The instructions are clear and easy to follow - thank you!

I am on to my third clutch and am loving the pattern. I haven't quite gotten the zipper right but no surprises as I don't often use them. the pattern and instructions were so simple to use, thank you!

I made this for my sister as a birthday present and she absolutely loved it. I added slots inside for her credit cards and I added a removeable wrist strap so she could wear it or use it as a wallet. It was so quick and easy. All of her friends wanted to know where she bought it!

I love these and will probably make one or two. I'm even thinking of satin or dressy blingy material for parties and such.

I have made at least 15 of these, I love them! I made one for all the girls in my friend's wedding party with our names embroidered on the handles. Also made them as gifts one year for Christmas. Noodlehead is a great blog for sewing, the blogger has really cute projects for adults and kids!

I'm stuck at the zipper. I purchased a 7-9" invisible one and didn't shorten it. So overall it is about an inch too long. I think I'll get a different one and continue tomorrow! Is a regular 7" best?

I made this last weekend and it turned out great! SOOOO CUTE!!! Many friends have commented on how great and sturdy my little clutch is and are surprised when I reveal that I made it! The instructions are clear and it's a great way to use up scraps of fabric not to mention almost empty spools of thread! I'm making another one this weekend for my best friend and will give these as Christmas gifts this year to some lovely ladies. The design affords a lot of versatility and creative thinking. I love this!

I made this I think it turned out really well. I am a beginner so it's not quite as clean as the ones shown on the picture but I am proud of it. I had the most trouble with the gathering stitch. Can anyone tell me what that is. I tried a few loose stitches on my machine before giving up and simply ironing the fabric down to look gathered. It turned out ok but I think it would have been better if done correctly.

try gathering by putting the tension on your machine on high and use the longest stitch
