What are indoor snowballs made of?
Faux snowballs are made of fabric outside. Preferably a soft and thicker material, which is why fleece is ideal. Inside is polyester fiberfill, which makes the snowballs light and easier to throw.
Do you have to use a sewing machine to sew DIY indoor snowballs?
No, you don't! You can sew fabric snowballs by hand, but it does take longer. If introducing your children to sewing with this project, it might be fun to try both and see what they are most comfortable with.
What can you play with faux snowballs?
There are a lot of creative games to play using these DIY snowballs if you're looking for more structured ideas. We'd recommend making at least five for each person and putting them in a bucket or bowl for easy throwing.
You can play by hiding and surprising people as you would in a normal snowball fight. If there are a lot of people, set up everyone like a dodgeball game and play as you would with balls. Your imagination is the only limitation!
