Star Quilt Block

"Learn to make a star quilt block using 5 inch squares for a 13 1/2 inch block. (Three other block sizes are also listed in the article). Smaller squares are snowballed to the corners of the larger squares. Once the star points are made the block is then constructed as a nine patch block.
