Instructions

Fold each napkin once diagonally from corner to corner.

. Lay one napkin with the fold horizontally and the other two adjacent to the first with their folds vertically.

. Pin together the adjacent napkin edges, going around the lower corners. Sew the seams, backstitching at the beginning and end of the seams, and press open. Note: Since the napkins are pre-hemmed, the sides may not be exactly the same length. If that’s the case, put a small pleat at the corner(s) of the longer edge.

Tie a small knot at the upper tie ends to join them. If you prefer a different finish, turn under each upper napkin point and insert a loop of rope cord through the openings, or lap the napkin points and sew together flat.
